Constructed from 2/3 environmentally friendly products, our Green commercial furniture is “as green as we can get,” utilizing sustainable resources, recycled materials, and natural products while maintaining both affordability and quality construction.

There is no standard definition or production method to creating eco-friendly furniture. Every manufacturer takes a different approach and employs a variety of available materials to create products that have a minimum negative impact on the environment. Our green product line is Made in America from domestically produced products, contributing to the growth of our economy. By partnering with suppliers that promote environmentally aware manufacturing methods, we are also contributing to energy conservation and protection of our distinct natural environments, like our home along the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina coast.

Green Product Specifications:
Frames: All wood used in the construction of our green upholstered furniture products’ frames is supplied by lumber yards that adhere to sustainable forestry practices. These facilities promote responsible forestry by following established local, state, and federal regulations in regards to the growth, harvesting, reforestation and preservation of soil and water quality associated with their timberlands. Their goal is to responsibly manage the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
Cushions: Our Green upholstery cushions are made from Preserve Foam from Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company, the first bio-based foam product in the furniture manufacturing industry. This flexible polyurethane foam replaces part of its petroleum-dependant ingredients with soy, which is a renewable and sustainable natural resource. Manufactured by alternative methods to eliminate the use of CFCs and other toxins, these cushions retain the durability and flame retardant qualities necessary in commercial furniture construction.

Upholstery Fabrics: Fabrics utilized on our green sofas are produced from recycled cotton t-shirts and retain the durability and other components necessary to commercial upholstery grade fabrics.
Spring Systems: All springs utilized throughout each green upholstery piece are made from recycled metal and wire.
Glue: A natural, non-toxic water-based glue is used to affix materials where needed in each furniture design.
Legs: Each piece of green contract upholstery is set atop sturdy legs made of recycled plastic.
Shipping: All green furniture is packaged in reusable blankets and shipped in recycled cardboard boxes. Each order also includes a return shipping box so the blanket packaging can be used for our next customer.
